Postdoctoral Yoga Research Position Opening at Brigham and Women’s Hospital
We are recruiting a postdoctoral research fellow to conduct research projects evaluating the benefits of yoga practices in adolescents and children in school settings. The Harvard medical area has a strong research
community in the fields of mind-body and alternative medicine, allowing for a wealth of potential research collaborations and training in these fields.
As a research fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an affiliate institution of Harvard Medical School, the candidate will also hold an appointment as a Research Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Completed graduate training with a Ph.D., Psy.D., M.D., Ed.D. or equivalent degree in psychology, psychiatry, behavioral medicine, physiology, education or a relevant field is required. Candidates with faculty positions will not be considered. Experience in the conduct of human research, grant writing, and biostatistics are considered essential for this position. Experience with yoga/meditation and/or education/pediatric research are also important considerations. Salary level will be commensurate with years of postdoctoral research experience as per NIH guidelines.
